Yes, you can get items for $1 on the McDonald’s dollar menu.
When you’re making healthy choices, you don’t always have to shop at Whole Foods and limit yourself to buy only organic.
It’s all about making the BEST choice for your body. I can tell you that fast food is not that choice.
Here’s a recap of my Aldi grocery-shopping today in preparation for my 7-Day Clean Eating Group that starts Monday!
– I don’t buy meat at Aldi! I’ll buy that at Giant Eagle.
-Veggies, fruits, cheeses, canned goods, hummus, ricotta cheese, pizza shells, hot sauce, some seltzer water,tortilla chips and a few snacks: yogurt covered pretzels, craisins, and SHOCKING… Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups!
All for $68! This will last at least a week, and the only other things I will need to buy are meats and eggs from Giant Eagle.
If I can stock my home with healthy foods, you can too!
Is my nutrition 100% on point? Heck no! I have more than my fair share of “cheats”, and that’s ok. I’m happy with the choices I make and I don’t beat myself up for a few slip-ups.
