It is typical to gain 2-10 lbs during the holiday season. Why do you think everyone’s New Year’s Resolution is to work out, get healthy, join a gym, etc.?
The Holiday season is usually reserved for big family dinners, wine, holiday cookies, parties, and hiding under your ugly Christmas sweater when those few extra pounds start to stick.
…. Enters my challenge! I have the perfect program for you to get on track NOW. You can lose up to 15 lbs by December 1, stay on the plan until the new year, and still enjoy your Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners, as well as a few holiday parties! Everybody wins here, especially YOU. You will already be in shape, ROCKING that New Year’s Eve dress, when those around you are feeling stuffed into their clothes and getting ready to sign up at the local gym on Jan 1.
With this challenge, you will learn correct foods to put into your body, and the correct portion size of those foods! You will learn what to cut out of your diet, and still be able to enjoy that occasional glass of wine without sabotaging your results. We will also learn how to ENJOY Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner, while sticking to your plan and not gaining a pound.
I can’t wait to tell you more about this Challenge and I hope you’ll join my exclusive, private support group!

So, all my life I’ve been slim. When I was younger, people would tell me to “just eat” and that I was too skinny. I’ve never had to worry about my weight and I’ve always been able to eat what I wanted (not fair, I know.)
I was on a “workout kick” in high school- working out at the gym every day when I was 16 and 17. The only thing I didn’t like about working out was that it made me gain weight, and I didn’t to gain weight. I was gaining muscle- my legs were getting bigger and I didn’t like it. I was also more hungry, so I was eating more, and I was eating all the wrong stuff! Fast food and cookies!
I didn’t work out again until I was an adult. I was never able to really get into a routine. Within 6 months from the time I got married, we decided to try for a baby. I gained about 10 pounds when I went off birth control and was able to get pregnant pretty quickly. I was still thin, and didn’t gain more than 30 pounds throughout my pregnancy.
I lost the baby weight quickly, due to nursing for a year. I also went back to work at 6 weeks postpartum, so I was active every day. I did not work out at all, and was able to lose baby weight and then some. I now weigh about 10-15 pounds less than my pre-pregnancy weight.
I started working out consistently in February 2014 when I joined Beachbody as a coach. I am also eating much healthier than I ever have before. I’m not trying to lose or gain weight, just trying to be healthy! The number on the scale is not important. It’s about how you feel, your energy level and your self-confidence. I love the energy that working out gives me and the confidence it gives me! I also love how it makes me appreciate my body and the things I am capable of accomplishing.
Working out because I didn’t want to gain weight was a cop out and a really dumb excuse. I wish I would have realized this much sooner in life! Working out is a great stress reliever and confidence booster, and that’s why I love it!
I LOVE working out from home!
When I was younger, I had a problem working out at home; I felt like I had no motivation to do it when I could sit on the couch instead! I mean, Hello! Why would I work out when I can watch t.v.?
Beachbody has given me the motivation to work out with a DVD at home, and my 2-year old daughter LOVES trying to work out with me. It’s so cute when she tries to do “tree pose” or “downward facing dog” from 21-day fix yoga, or when she puts her shoes on too to stomp around with me doing t25.
#1 TIP: Get a workout program that you LOVE and will stick to! I’m currently doing t25 and 21-day fix workouts! I love the dvd’s and love the celebrity trainers leading me!
Thanks Beachbody for giving me the motivation to work out from home, and not leave my daughter to go to the gym. It makes me feel like I’m not being as selfish by spending more time away from her! I also feel that I’m setting an example for my daughter to live a healthy lifestyle, and that it’s not okay to just lay on the couch all day watching t.v.!
